There are 5 double or twin bedrooms, 3 of which are at the front with en-suite bathrooms and French doors to the sun terrace; 2 or these rooms have a double and a single bed. The 2 side rooms overlook a landscaped rock-garden. The large room has twin beds and an ensuite shower-room, specially adapted for a wheelchair user who can park the car close to the room. The rest of the house is easily accessed by a wheel chair.
The large living room has a welcoming open fire, a library of books and wonderful views of the sea, the golf course and Knockalla mountain. The house is centrally heated throughout.
Breakfast is based on local ingredients such as McGettigan's sausages from Milford and Fanad Honey. Freshly squeezed orange juice is followed by a wide range of fruit, yogurt and cereals, including homemade muesli and granola. A variety of cooked dishes is then available, followed by tea or coffee, with freshly made scones and wheaten bread.
The Deanes will be pleased to arrange for dinner at any of the various restaurants in the area and occasionally will cook for parties of guests.
Children are welcome - a cot and a high chair are available. Croaghross is pet friendly, provided the pets are under control.
