Hotel Dølen - the oldest hotel in the valley of Setesdal ,are located in Evje.
The building's special architecture was a result of a complete rebuild in 1921 after the old building burnt down in 1917. Hotel Dølen is located between the river Otra and Road 9 , and is a natural place to stop for travellers between the east and western parts of Norway. The Hotel has 10 rooms with bath, and three rooms with bunks, with common bath in the hallway. All rooms got new beds in february 2005. We can arrange your meetings and small conferences, and has the necessary AV- equipment in addition to free WLAN for our guests. You will also find a small pub and bar where you can relax between your sightseeing in the Evje area.. Or, you can enjoy your refreshments outside on our new terrace with an excellent view to the river Otra. In our restaurant ”The Library” , a traditional Norwegian dinner is served every weekday. Or select from our great selection of à la carte dishes which offers great value for the money. The restaurant is open from tuesday to sunday, and every day in the high season.
