Flats: Each flat is 36 m2 with one double and one single bedroom accommodation up to 5 people. Lounge and kitchenette. Bathroom with shower and toilet, also featured is electric underfloor heating.
Double and single rooms are available outside of the summer season (July).
Cabins:
Ten cabins of various sizes and standards. All the cabins are of simple standard with sleeping capacity from two to six people. All cabins are equipped with hot and cold water, electricity, fridge, cooking plates, pots & pans etc.
Beds are equipped with duvets and pillows. Duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases can be hired. A new shower and toilet facility is location in the Pensjonat.
Brekkekjaer Pensjonat is situated on the island of Justøy in Lillesand comminity and is joined to the mainland by the famous "Blindleia" bridge. Driving on the E-18, 2 miles west of Lillesand a road sign inidates "Justøy Brekkestø". You then drive for approx. 4 miles to the Brekkekjær road sign a short distance before Brekkestø harbour.
PLAY AREA – also has a large grill are between the Pensjonat and the cabins. There are opportunities for bathing, fishing and other outdoor activities both on the sea and on the island. Brekkekjær is approx 250 yards from the well know Brekkestø Harbour, with its popular general dealers shop which caters for tourists and the people who own cabins in the sourrounding area. The nearest public beach is approx 1 mile from Brekkekjær Pensjonat. Salmon and Trout fishing is available in the surrounding area.
Other recreation opportunities are sea and river canoeing, white water rafting and steam train rides (the Locomotive was built in Glasgow in the early 19. hundreds).
Elisabeth & John Dobey bought Brekkekjær Pensjonat in 1995 and run the establishment with both the traditional rich Pensjonat and English Bed&Breakfast heritage.
