Liatoppen are situated in Aal in Hallingdal, between Oslo and Bergen. You will find us 920 meter above sea level with nice forest in the surroundings and short way to the high mountains.

We are well-known for good homemade Norwegian food, a cosy atmosphere and good service. This are things we are good at and we know that is important for our guests. At our place you shall feel like home - a lot of people do and come back year after year.
The most important for us are that our guests are happy here and go home with a lot of nice memories. We always have time for our guests and that is maybe one of the reasons why many of them are coming back.
Knut and Guri Buseth opened the place in 1961 and it have been a familyrun hotel since then. During the years it have grown bigger and been through a some changes. Today it is the third generation who are running the place.
