Welcome to Kristoffers!
Kristoffers is an old farm with a main house from 1905 and a second house
from 1850 currently used as a guest house. It has just been restored and
modernised. The guest house is for rent both during the winter and summer
season.
Kristoffers is located only 10 kilometers from Trysilfjellet -
Norway's largest alpine resort. The Trysil river passes directly by the
farm and is an excellent river for fishing.
Fishing
Trysil river is passing just by the farm. At your disposal you will
have both a boat with an outboard engine for fishing, and a canoe for
enjoying
the scenery in peace and quiet. The Trysil river is among the best grayling
rivers in Norway. Besides grayling the Trysil river contains brown trout,
pike and whitefish.
Hunting
In the autumn Kristoffers is the place to stay for small game hunting. You
can hunt capercaillie, black grouse and hare close by. If you want to
purchase a license for hunting, we can assist you in obtaining this. You
can choose between living at Kristoffers or in a small hunting cabin in
the forest.
