Bogstad is the largest campsite in Norway and has managed to retain its charm. At the campsite we have space for 1000 camping units, 210 of which are caravan spaces connected to electricity. Of our 36 cabins (for four persons), 16 have showers, toilets and color TV. There are 2 sanitary buildings with showers and toilets, one of which is open all year. All of our cabins are winter insulated, heated and fully equipped for both summer and winter use.
We are the first campsite in Norway, which uses electronic cards to give our guests entrance to our services and facilities. Ask at the reception for more information.
Both summer and winter, cottages at Bogstad Camp & Turistsenter are a good alternative to staying in a hotel. The cottages have good standards and affordable prices. We suggest you make a reservation, well in advance, especially during the high season.
All of the cottages are fully equipped for summer and winter use, with sleeping space for four persons. They are heated and winter insulated. Each of our cottages has a fully equipped kitchenette where you can make your own food, as well as comforters and pillows for four persons. You can rent bed linens in the reception, or bring your own.
We have different types of cottages with different prices. Of our 36 cottages, 16 have showers, toilets and TV. If you choose one of our simpler cottages, you will have hot and cold water in the kitchen, but they do not have showers or toilets. Our sanitary buildings are nearby and you can park your car next to the cabin.
We wash the cabin for you and your family after your departure. This has been long requested and we hope will provide better service for our guests. You are only asked to remove your garbage and wash up the dishes and cookware you have used. The cleaning service will do the rest, and the cost for this service is from 50 Norwegian kroner, regardless of how long you have stayed.
