It is the third highest mountain in Turkey with its peak at 3.917 metres. It rises high above the plain of Kayseri and the volcanic landscape of Cappadocia. Years ago the lava that gushed forth from this mountain formed the so-called fairy chimneys of Cappadocia. Erciyes is an ideal ski resort for keen skiers with a long ski season that lasts from November to May and with natural ski slopes up to 3.000 metres high.
The ski resort has 49 Standard Rooms, 4 Suites.
