Vakantie Turkije
Turkije staat bekend als goedkoop. Steeds vaker zoeken Nederlanders een vakantie uit in Turkije. Vrijwel altijd met het vliegtuig om aldaar in een chic vijfsterrenhotel te trekken. Hoge kwaliteit voor een lage prijs.
In het hoogseizoen ziet het zwart van de mensen in het land dat in Azië én Europa ligt. Het land kent veel uiteenlopende landschappen, een echte aanrader is dus om een dagje rond te gaan kijken als u van natuur houdt.
U moet oppassen als u gaat winkelen dat u niet te veel betaald voor nagemaakte merkkleding. Afdingen moet u zeker doen, bijna alle merkkleding is namaak, bedenk dus dat de kwaliteit van het normale merk niet altijd aanwezig is, de kleren zien er vaak echter wel goed uit.
Ook moet u er op berekend zijn dat Turkije niet deelneemt aan de euro. In het Islamitische land is de lira een wettig betaalmiddel. Ook is er één uur tijdsverschil met Nederland, zorg dus dat uw klok goed staat.
Het klimaat is goed, warme zomers en milde winters. De Turken houden ook van lekker eten. Voorgerechten als borek en cacik zijn echte aanraders voor de proevers onder ons. Als toetje is het smullen met baklava, met honing of siroop overgoten deeglaagjes met nootjes. In de hitte is het overigens handig om veel water te drinken, het kraanwater is niet ongezond, maar de lichamen van een normale westerling is hierop niet ingesteld.
