Thisted Camping is a peaceful, cosy family camping ground that is well sheltered and located right next to the Limfjord, with a beach and a jetty. Good sanitary facilities with new camper's kitchen.
Grill bar in pleasant rooms open during the peak season. Shop with a wide range of convenience goods with fresh bread to order.
It is 15 minutes’ walk along the fjord pathway to the centre of town. Facilities at the camping ground include a newer heated swimming pool - crazy golf - bouncy cushion - climbing castle - two playgrounds and an amusement arcade with billiard table.

The ground is open from 1/4 or Easter to 1/11.

Thisted is a cosy old town with many narrow, winding streets and a pleasant, newly renovated pedestrian precinct with plenty of excellent shopping opportunities.
Christianshave gardens, with statues of the Danish kings, is close to the centre of town.
Hanstholm - 23 km - with its extensive fishing harbour offers the opportunity to buy fresh fish and there are also fortifications from World War II and Denmark's most powerful lighthouse.
For those who love flowers Jesperhus Flower Park is only 33 km away.
It is 24 km to Vorupør, where they still draw the fishing vessels onto the beach.
