Buzenac-bas (in the 'Tuscany of France') is situated on a hill with excellent all round views. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet on several terraces under the warm French sun, and join our superb 'table d'hôtes' meals. And for a creative holiday you can join one of our workshops (ceramics/raku, glassfusing, sculpting, painting).
The wonderful barn built of natural stone, with its pleasant covered terrace is the heart of Buzenac-bas. The garage at the side and the stable behind the barn are transformed in gîtes.
On the site we have some camping places, a vegetable garden, chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, and not forgetting our cats and dogs. Your domestic animals are welcome, provided that they do not disturb or cause any damage.
When we bought Buzenac-bas in 2000 it was almost a ruin and we have done all the renovation work ourselves, combining comfort with authentic elements.
Gîte ‘le garage’ is one space of nearly 40 m2. It has a complete furnished kitchen corner.
The bathroom has a shower, a basin and a toilet.
The 2 single beds are separated with semi transparent curtains from the living space. There you find a dining table with 4 chairs, 2 comfortable chairs and a sofa-bed suitable for 2 small children. But you have also the possibility to place a tent for the children on the field in front of the gîte.
The gîte has a veranda with 2 cane chairs and garden furniture is included. From here
you have a wonderful view of the countryside.
The rent includes linen, gas and electricity.
In the surroundings you'll find a recreation lake, fish-ponds, a golf course, quads, and in Castelnau-Montratier is a swimming pool and a tennis court. There are many nice villages and the hills are perfect for walking and biking.
