We have modern sanitary facilities with sauna, washing machines, dry cleaners, drying room, nursery room, toilets and showers. You may also freely use a guest kitches with both stoves and a large dish-washer.
We also have facilities for disables with the required standard for showers and toilets. A work-out room with modern work-out equipment is also available for our guests.
Many of our guesta return year after year. Even if the most guests are here for a shorter stay our friendly and personal contact with our guests is possible because we are a small place. Many of our returning guests appreciate this atmosphere.
The mountains around Grimsbu have many exciting experiences to offer. The terrain is varied from the slope and family friendly mounitains to more wild mounitains in Rondane whenre a real mountain experience waits, and with good possibilities for mountain climing in the steep mountain walls.
The wild an deserted mountains have many fishing waters which is owned by the state of Norway and are available for everybody to fish in against a small fee. The taste of fried trout from the water and directly to the fire is something you don't get any other place than the mountains....
There are many oportunities for river canooing both in calm and family friendly rivers as well in tough rivers for the person who is seeking a thrilling adventure. A trip on the river is a very nice way to travel in the wild nature when the large forces of the river carries you through the landscape until you decide to stop for a break. The children will love this way of travelling.
