Camping Stensjö is a family campsite, situated on the fantastic east shore of lake Alljungen in the heart of Blekinge. Surrounded by picturesque nature, the campsite has large grassy pitches for motor homes, caravans and tents. The distance to Karlskrona is only 30 km.
The campsite has 50 places of which 42 with electrical hook up. The amenity block has clean toilets, showers and kitchenette. Near the building is a facility to dump waste from motor homes, caravans etc.
Barbeque facilities are found around the lake. A sunset barbeque at Alljungen is unforgettable.
At reception one can purchase cold drinks, ice cream and in peak season fresh baguettes, preferably ordered the day before. We also sell fishing gear and we can help you with tourist information. Other facilities include:
* a little beach and a separate swimming pool for children (the temperature
of the water of the lake can be 25 degrees in summertime!)
* a washing machine with dryer
* freshly brewed coffee or tea.
* midget golf
* a football- and volleyball ground
we also have:
* kayaks, canoes and boats for rental
* many different walking trails. From the campsite you can walk around
the lake or through the forest, where you can meet squirrels, (wild) boars or
maybe an elk.
* bicycles for rent
* good walking- cycling- and outdoor maps
* fishing licenses. Catching the delicious fish found in our lake requires a
fishing licence.
Stensjö is well worth a visit, even in Autumn and Winter when the beautiful Indian Summer colours can be seen. Our youth hostel is open the whole year. You are very welcome.
