The front room of the gite looks out over the valley, as does the stone-flagged terrace, which is equipped for eating outside. The area is ideal for a relaxing holiday in a peaceful setting, or for hiking, biking, birdwatching, river swimming in season, and other activities. A 1500 metre walk from the gite brings you to the ruins of the chateau de St Ilpize, one of the area's many and varied historic monuments.
