As a result of our experience over more than 30 years in the camping business, and our efforts to improve the infrastructure on an annual basis, we are in a position to offer you one of the best sites in the Valais.
Camping Bella-Tola is situated in a very peaceful location, about 2km away from the main road, at the edge of the Pfynwald and near the entrance to Illgraben, which is remarkable for geological reasons.
You will find the usual facilities on our site, of course, but we also have a rustic restaurant with a large terrace, a take-away, a Vis-à-Vis food shop offering a wide range of goods at economical prices, with a daily supply of fresh products, a kiosk selling many Swiss and foreign newspapers, and a large heated swimming pool with a children's splash pool. There is a lovely baby changing room, clean, decentralised sanitation facilities with individual washing cubicles, and a launderette with washing machines, tumble dryers and an iron. We also have a children's playing area, various games tables, a beach volleyball pitch and so on.
We place great importance on taking care of our customers, and have therefore set up an Information Chalet, where you can find out all about your holiday area and current events. When you arrive, you will also be given a comprehensive information folder.
For your safety, our site is completely fenced in, and will be guarded by SECURITAS during the summer months.
Our prices are inclusive, i.e. hot water, the heated swimming pool and value added tax are all already included. Extra charges will only be made for refuse, on the principle that the originator pays the cost. Also, we do not charge a reservation fee!
We are sure you will decide to come to Bella-Tola because:
* Bella-Tola is situated in a tranquil forest clearing away from the traffic, but is still extremely central in the heart of the Upper Valais and not far from the sights of the Valais;
* Bella-Tola has no airport or railway line in the vicinity;
* Bella-Tola has no nearby industry (and so no industrial emissions), but is located right by the largest protected natural pine forest in Europe with fantastic walking opportunities;
* Bella-Tola is indeed in a hilly terrace location with mostly flat pitches, but divides up the landscape in a myriad of different ways, so it is not just a big camping area;
* At Bella-Tola the heated swimming pool integrated in the camping area is available to our guests free of charge at all times;
* Bella-Tola is 750 m above sea level, offering warm temperatures which are not unpleasant even at night;
* Bella-Tola is not next to a flowing river;
* Bella-Tola only has a small proportion of long-term guests, providing a real camping atmosphere.
Camping Bella-Tola is located in German-speaking Valais. A short ride away, you can visit the Matterhorn near Zermatt, the Aletschgletscher in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the quiet Turtmanntal, high dams or Saas Fee, the pearl of the Alps. You can use impressive chair lifts or cable cars, improve well-being in the nearby thermal baths in Leukerbad, take a 3-pass trip, admire mountain flowers and grazing animals while walking, discover many unforgettable mountain paths - whether easier or challenging - or you can simply relax at our beautiful site and "let your spirit wander".
