"Le Troubadour" has 4 double rooms for our guests and 2 independant gites/appartments in an authentic Catalan House.
Each GITE is well equiped for two people.
About 50 yards from the house you’ll find the garden, equipped with a swimming pool. The garden itself has a lovely view of the river valley, and offers a great deal of privacy.
Prices:
the GITES are 325,- and 300,- per week
A double room in the B&B is 40,- euro per night including breakfast.
and 225,- per week (245,- in july and august)
The village of BOULE D’AMONT is located in a delightful mountain setting about 25 miles west of the Mediteranean Sea and the city of Perpignan, which can be reached by road, rail and air from all European capitals. We are blessed with an oustanding climate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year.The countryside here is a hiker’s paradise. The village itself has no stores or disco; only a restaurant. The immediate surroundings, however, offer plenty to see, and plenty to do!
. The nearby canyons, the Gorges de Galamus and the Gorges de Carança, are splendid locations for hiking, rock-climbing, canyoning and more. The ancient strongholds of the Cathars, such as the Chateau de Peyrepertruse are worth a visit. A hike through the world’s narrowest canyon, the Gorges de la Fou, with its rich flora and fauna, is an easy outing from our home. The Prieuré de Serrabonne , a cloister within walking distance of our village, is famous for its Romanesque art, as is the Pyrenees-Roussillon in general. Nearby Collioure, a fishing port on the Mediterranean, was immortalized by the painter Matisse. You can climb to the summit of Mount Canigou, or go swimming and basking on the beach (only 33 miles away).
