Vakantie-planner.com, what is it and why do I want to add my holiday home here?
Vakantie-planner.com is a rental listing site aimed at Dutch speaking visitors who are searching for holiday homes and accommodation in Europe.
There is no fee involved with adding your holiday home, in other words its 100% free.
The reason I started this site is quite simple, my mother bought a house in France 3 year ago and transformed it into a bed and breakfast.
Being a good son I made her a website and managed her online advertising's, being in the online business for quite some time this was is an easy and fun task which I love to do for her.
Since then I had the idea to start my own travel related website for fun, and give my mother some extra free advertising space.
This idea soon evolved into giving everyone free advertising space, thus making it free for all.
What do I get?
- One full page in 4 languages, (dutch, english, french, german).
- Six (6) photo's.
- The possibility to add a video of your property. (read below)
- You can add 5 properties, for example: create one for each accommodation type, if you have a camping and a bed and breakfast you can split them up so each has its own listing, or help a friend out and add his/her listing. Contact me if you have a lot of friends and need more space. :)
- A email contact form that stops email harvesters grabbing your email address and sending you spam.
- A direct link to your website.
- 24/7 support, I'm always willing to help out.
- You always have access to your data and are able to change it at anytime you want.
- Last but not least, I hope you get a lot of reservations.
But most of the site is in Dutch!
A full English,German and French version is coming soon. (August 2006)
However, the control panel where you add your property is in English (and Dutch), simply select the language while logging in.

Are there any rules?
-We ask everyone to take some time filling in all data, and submit at least 3 photo's , this to ensure overall quality.
Property's with no photo's at all will not appear on the site, I'm always willing to help out, just send me an email explaining your problem.
- Vakantie-planner.com is 100% free and without obligations, however we always like a link back, this can be a simple text link or a graphic banner, whatever fits in your sites design.
Can I add a video of my property?
Yes!,
Adding video footage to your page is a manual process done by me, send a simple email making clear you want to add a video.
Do the same if you have raw unedited footage and would like me to edit and add it to vakantie-planner.com.
Its also possible to re-use the video on your own site.
For editing raw footage I ask a small fee, other then that its free. (examples: this month's top holiday video's)
